Welcome to the world of guitars and computers!  On this website, I hope to be able to supply some information and resources directly related to the home recording enthusiasts. Although the info I supply is mainly for guitarists, it is not limited to the guitarists.  Others may find some helpful information.  I have been playing the guitar for several years and I have been collecting info along the way.  This website is a way for me to share what I have learned.  I hope you will find my input useful and I hope it helps in your quest to create music.  Good luck and thanks for visiting!

Back to music... I've got some new favorites.  Here they are:

    The Spirit Room

Michelle Branch, she's a great song writer and she's a guitar player!  Great songs to strum to and some good acoustic riffs.  It gets heavy rotation on my CD player.  She uses a capo a lot so if you want to practice songs with a capo, here you are.   One of her songs was on the TV show "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" titled "Goodbye to You".  Okay, I admit it, so I'm a Buffy fan.  Anyway so young and talented.  She would have been my pick for best female artist plus she gets to perform with Santana!  How can you beat that.  She sings on "The Game of Love"  from

    A Walk to Remember

Supposedly a "chick flick" or tear jerker movie, but I love the music on this one.  Has some great songs by Switchfoot.  I enjoy the way they use the guitar with the cello.  Very different kind of style.  I'm trying to learn some of the songs.  Especially "Only Hope" both Switchfoot's version and Mandy Moore's version.  Great piano song by the way.  Mandy has a beautiful voice.  Can someone find me my Jaime Sullivan?  If you're interested in how I'm trying to play this, drop me an email.

      Strange Beautiful Music

I saw Joe perform in Los Angeles at the Greek Theater on Saturday, August 10!  It was a great concert although I would have preferred that he didn't share the night with the other bands.  Joe played one of my favorite songs that has been off his touring list for a while.  The song is "Crushing Day" from the "Surfing with the Alien CD."  Check Joe's Official Website for more info.
