Computer Hardware

If you don't have a computer, you will need a computer that is fast enough to handle the recording you will do.  If you are going to do only MIDI, then you can get away with almost any low cost computer.  But if you will be doing any kind of audio recording then you need to think about processor speed, memory, and storage space.  Don't skimp on these things.  Most programs have minimum specifications.  I would try to double what ever the specs require.  If they ask for 64MB RAM, try to have at least 128MB RAM.
